Unloadig of frozen bulk cargo
Enterprises that have mining and handling complexes perform large amounts of handling operations, which require considerable energy and labor, and often have a negative impact on the production process, especially in winter.
To address these disadvantages, we have developed a vibration-ripping installation for unloading of frozen bulk cargo. It was successfully tested in the commercial port "Yuzhniy" of Odessa city. The achieved performance was 6000 wagons per month during very cold winters.
The vibration-ripping installation was designed for mechanized unloading of frozen bulk cargo (coal, gravel, pellets, etc.), by pre-vibro-ripping of aggregated material in a semi-wagon (полувагоне).Under the influence of vibration and the weight of vibro-ripping module the ripping pins embed in a frozen material and pierce it, breaking solidity. Lateral vibration of the pins shatters thematerial with pins, and destroys its strength and prevents the pins from exfoliation(расклинки).
