Blasting and coating complex of PLC
Blasting and coating complex of PLC "Dneprowagonremstroy". The total construction volume of complex is 7000 m3.
The complex provides technology of split steel shot treatment of cabs of railroad coaches and their coating, followed by drying. The complex’s productivity is 360 cars per year.
There are completed:
► Within a shot blasting chamber:
1. The project of foundations, considering difficult hydrogeological conditions (level of ground water is 0.6 m).
2. A full range of construction and assembly works, including:

Placement of monolithic reinforced concrete slab under the entire chamber. The execution was carried out in December with outside temperature of -10 degrees, using slab warming according to technology, developed by our company (our know-how);

Installation of metal frame structures;

Installation of enclosures of “sandwich” panels;

Installation of utilities and technological equipment.
►Within coating and drying section of the complex:
1. There is a working draft of coating and drying compartment.
2. A full range of construction and assembly works, including:

Monolithic reinforced concrete slab under the entire compartment;

Manufacturing and assembling of metal structures of the building framework;
-
Installation of enclosure structures from “sandwich” panels of piecemeal assembling on the construction ground;

Assembling of utilities and technological equipment.
► Within the pre-drying chamber of railroad cars (not built yet):
1. There is a working draft of the pre-drying chamber of railroad cars.
The general term of designing and construction of the complex is 8 months.
